For 25 years, Community Reading Partnership has worked to promote family reading practices throughout Ontario County because we know that literacy – the ability to read, write and communicate – defines a person’s future success and adds to the economic prosperity of our community. Our grassroots programs get books into the hands of children and literacy resources to their parents and caregivers. We can’t do this work without your support. Will you join us?
Please consider becoming a benefactor for one of our three signature programs:
Books for Babies – We provide a new book and literacy information for every child born at UR Medicine Thompson Health Hospital in Canandaigua.
Prescription to Read – We make sure every child receives a new book at their 12-month pediatric wellness visit through Thompson Health.
Welcome to Kindergarten – All K students entering Canandaigua Primary and St. Mary’s receive a copy of the same picture book so they can start the school year with a community-wide literacy experience.
